You can soak it before use – it will be softer

If you want to tie the dough with string or create a pumpkin shape, soak it in cold water beforehand - it will be more flexible and will not pull the dough unnecessarily. If using in the oven, make sure that it does not extend into the flame or heating element. After baking, it can be easily cut off. Store in a dry place and use it with pleasure even outside the kitchen.
