Simple, practical and always at hand. A round stainless steel sieve is indispensable when baking, when we need to evenly sprinkle bread with flour, powdered sugar or cocoa. Thanks to the fine mesh and comfortable handle, it is great to work with even through a stencil. It also works as a classic tea strainer - but in our case it plays a main role in the final finishing of bread and cookies.

Bread with sprinkles like from a bakery

This classic stainless steel sieve is used in baking for the final sprinkling – with flour, but also with sugar, cocoa or cinnamon. It is also suitable for decorating over stencils and, thanks to its fine mesh and good grip, creates an even and elegant surface. You can use it for loose tea, but for me it shines the most in the bakery.

Don't underestimate the final touch

Use dry ingredients and work closely with the sieve – the result will be clean and precise. Pouring through a template is great: the flour will settle only where it should, and the bread will get a beautiful pattern. Don't forget to keep the dough free of flour during the final rising and a little damp, the flour will then stick even after baking. Rinse with water after each use and let it dry freely – it will last you for years.
