Thematic Courses
Year-round: I will teach you the perfect sourdough bread with a crunchy crust, fluffy Shokupan (Japanese milk bread), or the essential foundations of yeast doughs.
Seasonally: In the spring, we meet over airy Mazanec (Easter brioche); in the summer, we bake Mediterranean Focaccia scented with fresh herbs; and in the winter, we master the art of braiding buttery Vánočka.

Mari is a professional baker who has been dedicated to the art of sourdough for 15 years. Back then, she walked away from her career at Porsche, deciding it was time to pursue what truly fulfilled her. Since that leap of faith, she has appeared on Czech Radio, featured in numerous magazines, and taught at renowned culinary studios alongside other "gastro superstars."
Having officially studied baking in her forties, she now works primarily as a baking instructor. On her Instagram, she inspires nearly 5,000 followers every day, proving that baking is more than just a Sunday hobby—it’s a form of therapy.
Her heart has belonged to Greece since 1999, when she first visited the island of Ithaca. She has been returning regularly ever since, noting that time flows differently there. According to Mari, the Greek climate and local energy work absolute miracles—both on the crust of the bread and on the soul.
