The bread baking course led by Marika is one big experience—a piece of magic starting with the simplest mixing of flour, water, sourdough starter, and salt. From the first hesitant touch of fingers into soft, supple dough to shaping the firm, elastic material into a proofing basket, it all transforms into a golden-baked loaf of bread. The final tap on its bottom and that slightly hollow sound will bring you immense, almost indescribable joy from your own hand-baked bread.
